Civic Projects Architecture is a Chicago-based firm founded in 2014 by Monica Chadha, AIA, LEED AP, operating from the South Side. The practice advances a participatory model of design that expands architecture's role in civic and cultural life, working across architecture, planning, stakeholder engagement, and project strategy. The firm incorporates community engagement as a through line from project inception through implementation, treating stakeholder participation not as a preliminary phase but as an integral part of informing program, atmosphere, and physical form.

Civic Projects has experience across cultural institutions, museums, community centers, youth and educational spaces, adaptive reuse projects, and neighborhood-oriented commercial environments. Recent and ongoing projects include the Obama Presidential Center Museum, Yollocalli Arts Reach at the National Museum of Mexican Art, the National Public Housing Museum Corner Store Coop, Sunshine Community Center, Steep Theatre's new home, and GCE Lab School.
