Eastside Arthouse LLC

Eastside Arthouse is a communal art studio in Riverside that opened in September 2021 to serve emerging and professional visual artists. The collective provides shared workspace for digital projects, traditional drawings and paintings, mural-making, and experimentation with new styles. Members have access to a media office for administrative tasks, Adobe Creative Suite software, and virtual reality art tools, along with free and discounted public workshops. The studio also functions as a gallery and event space for arts and culture programming.

Founded by social practice artist Juan Navarro, the studio aims to create a safe, accessible entry point to the art community for local artists in underserved areas of Riverside. The collective emphasizes peer learning and collaborative creation while supporting individual artistic growth. Navarro has led numerous community-engaged public art projects in the neighborhood, including nine mural transformations as part of the Park Avenue Storefront Revitalization Project and the Casa Blanca Mural. The studio has partnered with Inland Empire Health Services to produce a series of murals across Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
