Kettle River Timberworks

Kettle River Timberworks specializes in custom design, technical fabrication, and installation of architectural timber frames, post and beam structures, and timberwork throughout British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest. The company works with architects from initial drawings through final installation, using 3D modeling to plan every structural member and connection before fabrication. All timber packages are CNC-cut and test-fitted at the company's British Columbia interior facility before delivery.

The company has extensive experience managing the logistical challenges of coastal construction, including coordinating barge deliveries to remote properties, staging materials around ferry schedules, and raising frames without crane access. Kettle River Timberworks designs timber frames specifically for high-moisture coastal environments, selecting species and employing joinery methods suited to durability in salt air and severe winter conditions. The crew actively participates in volunteer timber framing projects through the Timber Framers Guild of North America.
